My 8 year old son Colby was desperate to give his teacher a gift this year. He wanted to get a meaningful gift, but I knew most teachers don’t like getting the usual stuff. It just become to much junk for them. So I decided to find something they can use in the classroom and settled on a classic, Pencils. I wondered how we could gift wrap pencils in a fun way, so it felt like a special gift. We took paper and wrapped the pencils in them. Then we drew eyes, nose and hat and made them look like snowmen or woman. He loved them and we made one for each of the other children’s teachers. Here was our final product. Colby also had to sneak in a pen for the teacher so she can correct homework. Enjoy!!!
