Peace River Flood 2013 | Peace River Photographer

Today Peace River had some minor Flooding, because the Pat’s Creek jammed up with debris.  Long Story and I’m sure you can read about it in our locale Record Gazette.  My kids were very eager to see the damage, and I did not feel comfortable taking them down town into the hot zone as I know officials will want people away from there.  So we snuck off to 12 foot davis gravel site to get a look see.   These were my pictures I shot from today.  A few  looking down town but the rest  were of my children. 🙂   Gosh the sky was blue this evening, who would have thunk it would flood on a day like this.  We got 4″ rain yesterday and you would have thought if it was going to flood  thats when
it would happen.  Oh well it was a beautiful day nonetheless.  We are stranded at home as there is no way to access down town until they re-open it.  So we will make use of this day and hang out together as a family and watch a movie. Night All
