I have changed my previous post about closing my down town location to Moving my business. Leah Wood Photography is not closing its doors nor am I selling my business, I’m simply relocating it back home. This is a happy move for my family. My New Years Resolution was to have balance in my life and this is helping me do just that.
I find it easier to have every thing under one roof, there will be no more running down to the store to grab something I forgot or oops I forgot that prop at home. It’s hard-working from two locations and I might reconsider a new down town studio again in 3 years when my youngest child goes off to school full-time.
As most of you know from my previous post my husband has been sick. Everyone is wanting to know with what, we are unsure what it is. He has joint pain. This is a very slow process to finding out what is exactly wrong with him. He is still at work and I still work on his days off. I’m just limiting the amount of hours I work so I can be home more with my family, (the balance I was telling you about). In the past 3 years that I was down town we did not see each other except for christmas and holidays this was not enough time off together. I really enjoy being home more with my family and look forward to this new chapter.
So if you are interested in booking a session I still have some spots between June 9 – 14 and June 22 -29 must be a on-location session. I would be happy to answer any question you have and look forward to hearing from you. Also for my clients who are not on facebook, I’m going to post some images of my basement studio Reno’s and show you how it’s coming along. We are waiting on the Drywaller to show up at the end of June to board, mud and tape. Looking forward to this step because I then can install the flooring and paint.
Thanks everyone for you kind words and support during this transition.
