Going through the Mountains of Montana

So, if you have been keeping up Im blogging about my summer vacation last year.  Find the previous post HERE.

After having our pictures taken in Calgary we headed to a small town called Atena to see our new puppy.  We were visiting a breeder who was breeding Vizsula’s and they just happened to have a litter ready to go with 1 left.  I was so excited to find them on Kijiji.  We plan our  trip so we could stop by and see the whole litter.  We were unsure if we wanted to do another puppy but OMG how could you say No.  They were so darn cute!  We put our deposit down and told them that we want to think about it and when we get back in 2 weeks we will have an answer for you.   It was a big decision but a good one we called when we were heading back their way with  her name.  Gracie because she is full of Grace with those long moose legs.

That day we hit the road and headed for the border.  I was so excited I’ve never crossed the board before and thought it was going to be tough.  It was no that at all, we handed over our passports they asked where we were going and when will be back.  Told us to sign our passport and we were on our way.  I thought for sure they were going to inspect our Fruit.

We drove the majestic mountains of Montana, what a beautiful country.  If you love to camp you must at least spend some time camping there because my Gosh was it ever beautiful.  The streams were so awesome and the fly-fisher were plentiful.

I shot a few pictures of these mountains before we hit the really  big mountain and it Had the Letter C on it.  We had no idea why it had a C on it but later on in our travels we will soon realize that lots of the US has big letter under their mountains.

Instead of eating garbage all the way to California we decided to pack a cooler that can plug-in and keep lunch meat and snacks in.  We found this much cheaper except there was not lot of picnic areas that we could eat in.  So we ended up in parking lots at Wal-Mart. lol   I also packed a stove and thought for sure I would cook as we went but heck No.  There was not enough time to do this and also once again no pull outs to do it at.  When I was kid my parents did this but we stopped at campsites with water and bathrooms.  It was a good idea but just did not have enough time or places to do it at.

These pictures are of my family pulled over having lunch by a beautiful lake.
